VICKI EDWARDS. BA(Hons)

Vicki is the nursery owner and has worked in the childcare sector since 1995. Vicki has a Bachelor of Arts with Honours degree in Children, Schools and Families and is qualified to BTEC standard in nursery nursing and has attended many short courses in child care. Vicki has a Foundation Degree in the Integrated Education and Care of Children and Young People.
Vicki has also been awarded the Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) which is a professional accreditation endorsed by the government for graduate practitioners who have demonstrated a set of professional standards.

Kerry is the Business Manager of Mossgate Day Nursery and the registered person. Kerry has worked at Mossgate Day Nursery since September 2016. Previously she worked for one of our sister nurseries, Kingsway Playgroup & Pre-School Centre for 10 years. Kerry has a Foundation Degree in the Integrated Education and Care of People and Young Children and is a Designated Safeguarding Lead and qualified first aider.

Kerry has been selected to offer support to other Early Years Foundation Stage Managers and Owners by acting as an example and sharing good practice.  Kerry will contribute to the continued development of high quality practice within the Early Years Foundation Stage in Lancashire.
This is a well deserved achievement for Kerry, who is an Inspirational Manager and highly committed to supporting young children to play, learn and thrive.

Georgia is our Assistant Manager and a designated lead practitioner. She has been in childcare since 2015. Georgia has a Level 3 in Children Young People’s Work force.  She is a qualified first aider and a Designated Safeguarding Lead

Gary has worked at Mossgate since 2017. Gary has gained his TQUK level 3 Diploma for the Children’s workforce. Gary is a qualified first aider.

NATALIE BOSSON

Natalie has been working at our Mossgate After School Club since May 2019 and joined the team at our sister nursery in January 2021 before moving back to Mossgate Nursery in 2022. Natalie holds CACHE level 2 Diploma in Childcare and Education and is studying for her level 3 qualification. Natalie is also a qualified First aider.

SUGRAN GIBSON
Su has been working at Mossgate since September 2023 and is a qualified first aider.

Kath is our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO). Kath has a BA (Honours) in Geography, a Post Graduate Certificate of Education and a Post Graduate Diploma as a Teacher in the Deaf. She worked as a special needs advisory and support teacher in North Lancashire for 23 years, in high schools, primary schools, pre-schools and with babies in their homes. During this time she gained experience in working with children with a wide range of special needs and her work included cooperative working with a wide range of professionals, including those in health and social care.
